We are looking for a hands-on creative communications professional to establish our employer brand and embed our brand tone of voice across our internal and external communications touchpoints. You will be a key part of this start up team, helping us connect with our people, increase engagement and amplify excellence through effective communication.
What you’ll do
Internal Communication:
Be the internal champion for our company values, culture and excellence. Collaborate with senior leadership to craft compelling messaging for company communication and employee engagement initiatives.
Shape our internal communication strategy to engage with our people, create openness and transparency, and support our people centric culture.
Drive the communication processes and timetable for change management; leading stakeholders through the steps to ensure timely, impactful communication to increase awareness and mitigate concern.
Define key messages and tactics, create presentations, talking points and FAQs to support business change. Deliver basic communication training to stakeholders to grow our communication capability across the business.
Be a trusted advisor for the team. Provide communication support for crisis management situations, providing internal communication counsel for senior stakeholders.
Be a key player for communication driven events such from culture building sessions, ideation sessions, department meetings and town halls; working with leaders to define our key messages and engagement metrics.
Employer Branding:
Define our employee value proposition to ensure we attract and retain top talent by establishing values, culture and an environment where people can thrive and achieve their highest potential.
Communicate the employee value proposition through multichannel campaigns and creative social media content to attract and engage candidates aligned with our mission.
Develop internal campaigns to build brand affinity and advocacy amongst our team members, ensuring all programs are rooted in our brand values and championed by brand ambassadors.
Recommend solutions to establish, enhance and amplify our workplace culture and practices.
Support Talent Acquisition to build our candidate pipelines through a mix of channels (social media, events, partnerships), tailoring our approach to attract talent across a range of roles and seniority levels.
Bring best practices from the industry, marketing and digital media to uplevel our efforts and accelerate the impact of initiatives across the People Operations Team.
Use data to monitor the effectiveness of internal and external campaigns and programs to ensure continuous optimization, reduced time to deliver and maximum ROI.
What you'll need to succeed
4 years experience working in public relations, internal communication and/or employer branding.
Exceptional English language skills (written, verbal, presentation).
A self starter with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Able to work independently, as part of a team and as the leader of a team.
Attention to detail with a passion for using communication to unite and engage people.
Highly adept in project and time management.
Equally comfortable communicating with small groups, at all hands and with senior stakeholders
High EQ, charismatic with the ability to tell a story and bring people on a journey with you.
Sensitive to the organisation’s goals and values, with the ability to convey these to a diverse team..
Cross-team collaboration, working with Leadership, Brand, People Operations, Design.
Manage agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of your mission.
Using data to assess performance and recommend improvements.
