We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Researcher to lead our research efforts, drive innovation, and champion a user-centered design approach across our digital products and services.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of user behaviors, needs, and preferences through various qualitative and quantitative research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, ethnographic studies, and analytics.
Manage user research initiatives across multiple projects, from planning and execution to analysis and dissemination of insights.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, engineers, and marketers to define research goals, prioritize activities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Mentor and guide junior UX research team members, fostering their growth and development.
Utilize advanced quantitative and qualitative research techniques to uncover actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
Analyze research findings to extract meaningful insights and recommendations that inform design decisions, improvements, Business strategies, and product development.
Drive the development and evolution of user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to inform product strategy and design.
Evangelize user research best practices within the organization, advocating for the importance of user-centered design and the value of research-driven insights.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of research methodologies within Digikala's UX team.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX research and design, and incorporate relevant findings into our processes and methodologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop research roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively.
Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, influencing decision-making and driving improvements to the user experience.
Qualifications:
+4 years of experience in a digital product or service environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impact and results.
Proven expertise in a wide range of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, and the ability to select the most appropriate method for each research question.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with design tools and prototyping tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate research findings and insights to diverse audiences.
Experience leading and mentoring junior researchers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Proficiency in tools and software commonly used in UX research such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, etc.
Experience in e-commerce research is a strong plus.
