Job Purpose:

To effectively manage and maintain the inventory of infrastructure assets, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and optimal availability of hardware and software resources across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update records of infrastructure assets, including hardware, software, and network components, in the asset management system.
Track asset lifecycle stages such as procurement, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning.
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Data Infra teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
Develop and deliver periodic reports on asset status, availability, and discrepancies.
Document asset management processes and recommend improvements to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to align asset data with purchasing and maintenance records.
Identify and report potential risks related to asset availability, discrepancies, or equipment performance.
Analyze asset data to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with asset management policies and data security guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in asset management systems
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions to optimize asset management processes.
Previous experience in IT asset management or infrastructure asset administration.
Experience in preparing analytical reports and identifying process improvements.
