About the Role:
 
As a Senior Product Designer at TAPSI, you will lead the design of cutting-edge products that meet user needs and business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to create intuitive, engaging, and impactful designs.

Tasks in detail:

  • Design compelling user experiences that engage users and encourage them to learn to read while enjoying the process.
  • Design for extreme simplicity so that the product is immediately usable by anyone, regardless of age, education level, or previous exposure to digital products.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, demonstrating proficiency in creating engaging designs.
  • A portfolio that showcases problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail in crafting designs that drive positive outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and product teams.
  • Experience implementing visual design systems across a range of platforms in an iterative environment.
  • Create, iterate on, and support the testing of new UX designs.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (most importantly Figma. Any skill level of Protopie or Origami is a bonus).
  • Advanced skills in problem-solving and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as Mobile, Android, iOS, and desktop.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload, and meet critical project deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
  • Foster an open, inclusive environment for others to provide feedback, share ideas, and solve challenging problems together.
  • Be known as a strong communicator who articulates design rationale based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Eager to learn and test new techniques and tools.

  • Knowledge of using AI in your daily work to speed up the process.
  • An engineering background or experience as a motion designer is a plus. We are looking for unique skill sets to augment the rest of the team and believe in the power of interdisciplinary thinking. We'd love to know your superpower!
