We are looking for a passionate certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into
business decisions. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this
role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
Responsibilities:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
Helping develop reports and analysis.
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or
ETL frameworks)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and
accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
