Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with development, operations, and testing teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable DevOps processes and solutions.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery, including building, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Implement and maintain configuration management tools and practices to ensure consistency and reliability across development, test, and production environments.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for infrastructure as code, automated provisioning, and orchestration.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure visibility into system health and performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing, and propose relevant improvements to enhance the team's effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning and management tools such as Ansible.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with source control management systems like Git, including branching strategies and code merge processes.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and the ability to configure and maintain secure infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to write and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and templates.
  • Skill in troubleshooting and resolving issues in complex distributed systems.
