Playpod cloud gaming platform is looking for a talented IOS Developer that will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Playpod’s IOS application. You will be responsible for integrating Playpod back-end services inside the application. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers on different layers of the Playpod infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality is essential.

Here is a breakdown of the responsibilities and desired skills:

Responsibilities

• Implement designs and mockups into high quality code

• Design, build, test, and maintain high performance reusable, reliable code

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and continuous integration/deployment

• Conduct source code review to ensure the quality of source code and recommend necessary rework.

Skills

• Strong understanding of the IOS application lifecycle and Swift

• Good experience on GDC and multithreaded programming

• Strong familiarity with Swift and advanced Language features

• Strong understanding of IOS common Architecture, knowledge of MVVM/MVI/MVP patterns

• Strong knowledge of Apple SDK and Apple frameworks

• Strong knowledge of apple human interface guidelines

• Familiarity with network communication through RESTful APIs and Sockets to connect application to back-end services

• Strong knowledge of ARC

• Familiar with CocoaPods

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT

• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Knowledge of the latest version of iOS

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• Independence and Self-motivation, ability to tackle projects with loose constraints
