شرح موقعیت شغلی

Role Description
As a Senior Cloud Engineer at DigiCloud, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure to support Digikala and its subsidiaries. This role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, Ceph, and cloud platforms to ensure high availability, security, and performance across various cloud services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Kubernetes & Containerization:
    • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support production workloads.
    • Optimize Kubernetes networking, storage, and security policies.
    • Automate Kubernetes deployment using Helm, Kustomize, or ArgoCD.
    • Work with container runtimes like Docker and LXC for application management.
  • Ceph Storage Management:
    • Deploy, configure, and optimize Ceph clusters for scalable and high-performance storage.
    • Ensure data redundancy, replication, and recovery strategies are in place.
    • Monitor Ceph cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Virtualization:
    • Manage OpenStack environments for private cloud deployments.
    • Work with Kernel-based Virtual Machines (KVM) for virtualization.
    • Ensure cloud infrastructure is highly available, scalable, and secure.
  • Automation & Configuration Management:
    • Use Ansible to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
    • Develop Python, Golang, or Bash scripts for system automation.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure updates.
  • Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
    • Optimize system performance, troubleshoot network/storage issues, and reduce downtime.
  • Version Control & Documentation:
    • Manage infrastructure as code using Git.
    • Write and maintain detailed technical documentation and best practices.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
    • Work with DevOps, SREs, and software engineers to ensure smooth deployment.
    • Provide expertise in cloud security, networking, and high-availability architecture.
Required Skills:

High Expertise in Kubernetes (advanced networking, scaling, security).

Strong Experience with Ceph (storage optimization, replication, troubleshooting).

Linux System Administration (strong knowledge of services, security, and performance tuning).

 

Scripting Proficiency (Python, Golang, or Bash for automation).
Ansible Configuration Management (hands-on experience in automating infrastructure).

OpenStack & Virtualization (experience with OpenStack, KVM, and cloud orchestration).

Monitoring & Performance Optimization (Prometheus, Grafana, and observability tools).

Version Control (Git workflow for managing infrastructure as code).

Technical Writing & Documentation (creating clear and detailed cloud operation documents).
Problem-Solving & Adaptability (comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment).


Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Deep understanding of networking (SDN, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls) in cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in Kubernetes and OpenStack environment
