About the Role:

We are seeking a highly responsible and experienced individual to join our commercial analytics and planning team. As a Planning Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes and providing on-demand analysis to enhance our business operations. You will be responsible for analyzing critical business problems, tracking sales performance, and monitoring key performance indicators. Job Description:

  • Break down monthly targets into daily figures and monitor daily performance based on established targets
  • Conduct root cause analysis for deviations in daily sales from the established target
  • Prepare reports to monitor key performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations
  • Implement and oversee the process of bonus calculation and track performance of commercial agents based on established monthly targets
  •  Conduct benchmark and in-depth analysis to identify potential enhancements for the bonus model of the commercial teams
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis for each proposed bonus model, evaluating their potential impact and effectiveness
  • Effectively communicate and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, as well as non-technical concepts to technical stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Apply mathematical modeling techniques to develop and interpret information that aids in decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to conduct business reviews and provide valuable insights
  • Prepare reports to monitor key performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with technology and data teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analysis
  • Contribute to the development of inventory strategies for existing items
  •  Analyze and report on aged and slow-moving stock, identifying areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Strong familiarity with Excel at a professional level
  • Intermediate level experience in Python, with the ability to leverage it for data analysis tasks
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising accuracy
  • Proficient in data visualization techniques, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Expertise in Power BI for advanced data visualization and reporting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new roles, responsibilities, and potential rotations within the team
  • Ecommerce experience will be viewed favorably
