About the Role

At Hami System Sharif, we build and operate large-scale national systems in payments, identity verification, and capital markets. We are looking for a strong System Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our internal and production servers and infrastructure.
In this role, we expect you to own the installation, configuration, patching, and monitoring of Linux and Windows servers, virtualization, backups, and core organizational services, and, alongside the DevOps and network teams, to provide a stable and secure infrastructure for our development teams and production systems.
We are looking for someone who is precise, organized, and accountable, takes documentation seriously, and detects and fixes problems before they reach users.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers in internal and production environments
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, or Hyper-V and allocate resources efficiently
• Manage core organizational services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and mail
• Design and run backup and restore policies and test data recovery regularly
• Monitor the health, capacity, and performance of servers and services with tools such as Zabbix or PRTG
• Manage OS and service updates and security patches
• Harden servers and enforce security policies and access controls in line with organizational standards
• Manage user accounts, access levels, and password policies
• Work with the DevOps team to prepare and maintain staging and production environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on servers and organizational equipment
• Manage storage and SAN / NAS and plan for future capacity
• Install and support software and equipment for internal users (endpoints)
• Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes
• Prepare and maintain the disaster recovery plan together with the network and SRE teams

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience managing servers and enterprise infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Strong command of Linux (preferably Ubuntu / RHEL) and its service management
• Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory
• Hands-on experience with a virtualization platform such as VMware, Proxmox, or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, firewalls) at the level of server administration
• Experience implementing and managing backup and restore solutions
• Scripting ability in Bash or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks
• Strong documentation skills and discipline in managing configurations and changes
• Proficiency in Office and Google Workspace tools
• Working knowledge of English for reading technical documentation

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as LPIC, RHCSA, MCSA, VCP, or equivalent
• Familiarity with Docker and container and Kubernetes concepts
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Experience in high-security environments such as fintech, PSP, or banking
• Familiarity with basic database administration: installation, backup, and monitoring (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server)
• Experience working in growing organizations or fast-paced environments
