We are seeking a dynamic Business and Data Analytics Engineer to join our Data and Analytics Team. You will design and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth, gathering requirements and delivering insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data engineering and analytics, as well as a deep understanding of business functions and industry-specific data needs. If you're a self-starter with a passion for using data to drive business value, we want to hear from you! 

 

Responsibilities 

• Design and implement data pipelines and data models to support business data analytics initiatives 

• Build and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes

• Develop and maintain data ETL processes to ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business requirements, and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation 

• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and analysis using SQL and other data analysis tools to support business-specific data analytics needs 

• Collaborate with other team members, such as data scientists, data analysts, and data engineers, to deliver end-to-end data solutions 

• Continuously monitor and improve business data analytics processes and tools to enhance data accuracy, reliability, and performance 

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering, business analysis, and industry-specific data analytics 

• Present data-driven insights, recommendations, and forecasts to business stakeholders to support strategic planning, risk management, and performance optimization 



 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, data analytics, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or business data analysis roles, with a focus on supporting business functions such as marketing, sales, operations, or finance 

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and experience with data visualization tools, specifically in creating business-focused dashboards and reports 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving business value through data insights 

• Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions that support business intelligence and analytics needs 

• Experience with "Principles of Enterprise Data Warehousing," including best practices for data modeling, data integration, data governance, and data security 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

• Passion for data, analytics, and the ability to drive business value through data-driven decision-making 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data insights to business stakeholders 

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
