Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Management Expert with a focused expertise in data quality, data governance, and master data management (MDM). In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our organization's data assets. Your responsibilities will span the development and implementation of robust data quality standards, effective data governance practices, and the oversight of master data to optimize overall data integrity across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data quality framework, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and maintain a centralized master data repository.
• Design and develop data infrastructure focused on accelerating data analysis and reporting processes.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and align data management strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor data systems and processes, analysis root-cause and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement data security measures to protect against unauthorized access and loss.
• Overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data models.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, including data modeling, data integration.
• Extensive knowledge in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Data Governance, Master and Reference Data and Data Quality Management.
• Experience in leading data management projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques and experience in designing data architecture.
• Proficient in database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Mentor and train team members on data management best practices and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
