Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Software Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and overall quality of our software. Your expertise in manual testing methodologies will contribute to the delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.

2. Test Case Design: Create detailed and well-structured test cases that effectively cover all aspects of the software.

3. Test Execution: Perform manual testing of software applications, identifying and documenting defects accurately.

4. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionalities.

5. Defect Tracking: Use defect tracking tools to report, prioritize, and track issues to resolution.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand software changes and provide input on testability.

7. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test cases, and test results.

8. Quality Advocacy: Advocate for quality by participating in reviews and ensuring adherence to testing best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. 3+ years of proven experience as a Manual Test Engineer, with a focus on software and application testing.

3. Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.

4. Experience in creating and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.

5. Familiarity with defect tracking tools and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test execution and defect reporting.
