Senior Operations Planning Specialist Job Description:

The Senior Operations Planner is a key part of any the Operations Team, which will provide essential support to the team of planners on a day-by-day basis. It is vital to ensuring business milestones are met and we support all the business objectives. The role encapsulates the link between business planning, manufacturing, supply chain and other functions. The job holder must be able to work effectively in a multi-functional environment, understanding wider business implications and priorities activities appropriately, the job holder is expected to maintain current systems but to have a view and goal to enhance and develop the current planning systems whilst utilizing their knowledge and experience to discover opportunities for improvement and to drive change. Communication will be vital in this role to ensure all Key Stakeholders are informed of current status for the team and for business requirements. This job holder must have a minimum of 2-year experience within a Supply Chain or Planning Function, and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a team of Planners.

Job Description:

- Documenting and optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards

-Skill in the analysis and re-engineering of systems, processes, and procedures

- Capacity planning and control coordination with operations teams.

- Create timely and accurate reports and present them to the company's executives and senior management.

- Assisting in the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives.

-Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.

-Order supplies and manage inventory, coordinating with accounting and finance departments to adhere to budget.

-Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team) and vendors.

-Analyze Operation processes to make improvements and prepare in-depth and insightful logistics reports for senior decision-maker.

-Have Good cooperate with the BI team to create Dashboards that provide reliable --insights and visualization into performance relative to KPIs, projections, and historical performance.

-Reviewing incident reports to determine if any action should be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

- Prepare weekly and monthly progress and reports.

- Highlight to project team on issues causing delays to project completion.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree (Industrial engineering preferred)

-Familiar with project management methods

- +2 years of professional Planning or data analysis experience.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Or similar software).

-Having good knowledge of data and data visualization for maximizing the feasibility of understanding for manager

-Capable of delivering polished and insightful reports.

-Proven experience of self-learning.

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Self-Motivated, fast learner and result oriented.

-Strong analytical and quantitative skills with familiarity experience with Excel/SQL; ability to handle data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop tools, and evaluate outcomes
