About the position
The mission of a Senior Growth Data Analyst is to leverage data to drive the balanced growth of both sides of the platform - the drivers and the riders. They are responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making strategic recommendations to help increase the number of active drivers and riders, improve their experience, and, ultimately, grow the business. They ensure that growth is sustainable and beneficial for all parties involved. This role is crucial in making data-driven decisions that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Providing new detailed reports and maintaining current growth reports to ensure day-to-day business performance runs smoothly.
Working on new features and new business lines and providing analytical support for growth
Developing predictive models to forecast future trends or behaviors based on historical data. This could involve using machine learning algorithms or statistical modelling techniques.
Designing and implementing A/B tests to compare the effectiveness of different strategies or features. This includes defining the test parameters, collecting and analyzing the results, and making recommendations based on the findings.
Collaborating with other teams (such as product, marketing, and engineering) to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. This could involve attending meetings, presenting findings, and working on joint projects.
Continually seeking ways to improve data collection and analysis processes. This could involve identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and implementing changes.
Using data insights to inform strategic planning. This could involve identifying growth opportunities, predicting future trends, and helping to shape the company’s strategic direction.

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of data analytics, cleaning, and preparation
Proficiency with data modeling and data analysis tools
Expertise in data analytics-related programming languages such as Python, SQL
Experience with statistical and mathematical analysis
Applicable knowledge of machine learning technologies for data analytics
Good knowledge of relational databases or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including team members, managers, and executives
Ability to understand the company’s business strategy and align their work accordingly
Knowledge of the ride-hailing market, including customer needs, competition, and trends
The ability to collect, organize, interpret, and draw conclusions from data using mathematical and statistical methods and to ensure data accuracy and quality by identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies
Ability to find solutions to complex problems and to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and achieving project goals
2-3 years of experience in related fields
Pursuing BA/MS in MBA, industrial engineering or any related field.
