About Snapp
Snapp is the pioneer provider of ride-hailing mobile solutions in Iran that connects smartphone owners in need of a ride to Snapp drivers who use their private cars to offer transportation services. We are ambitious, passionate, engaged, and excited about pushing the boundaries of the transportation industry to new frontiers and being the first choice for every user in Iran.

Responsibilities:

Develop end-to-end data driven solutions for finding fraudulent activities, using machine learning, deep learning, statistical learning methodology, and applied mathematics.
Detect fraudulent activities by reviewing transactions, identifying suspicious patterns, conducting investigations, and reporting findings.
Perform quality checks on the data and processes related to fraud detection and prevention.
Analyze and understand new fraud trends, patterns, and techniques.
Choose the proper metrics and for tracking and understanding current and future experiments.
Develop dashboards that provide reliable insights and visualization into performance relative to KPIs, projections, and historical performance.
Providing data analysis needed for operations decision making.
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.

Requirements

Proven experience in Data Science or AI engineering.
Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and having an excellent programming skill in Python and Scala or Java.
Working experience using redis and at least one of kubernetes, docker, mlflow, rabbitmq, kafka, postgres, apache spark.
Experience working with machine learning libraries (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn)
Knowledge of fraud schemes, regulations, and best practices.
Pursuing a degree, a BA/MS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, software engineering or equivalent experience is preferable
7/24 availability to handle any urgent issues or requests that may arise.
Having strong analytical skills
Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
communication and presentation skills (Farsi & English)
Independent, self-starter with a passion for hunting
Positive and proactive, can-and-will-do, team player attitude
