About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Merchant Development Specialist to join our Commerical team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing merchant registration requests, managing acquisition operations, and ensuring timely and accurate processing through internal platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, maintain service quality, and support the continuous growth of our merchant network.

Responsibilities

Review, verify, approve, or reject merchant registration requests based on established policies and operational standards.
Manage merchant status and registration workflows through internal operational panels.
Execute merchant mass acquisition processes to support the growth of active merchants.
Respond to registration-related tickets and inquiries within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
Review and document registration decisions while maintaining accurate operational records.
Monitor ticket queues and pending registration requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Collaborate with Platform, Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to improve merchant acquisition processes and operational efficiency.
Prepare regular operational reports and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
1–3 years of experience in operations, merchant onboarding, customer operations, platform operations, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing documents and registration requests.
Experience working with internal operational platforms or merchant management systems.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and queue management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
Ability to manage a high volume of requests while meeting defined service levels.
Strong sense of ownership with excellent follow-through and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with merchant acquisition processes or the fintech/e-commerce industry is a plus.
