About the Role:

The mission of the Merchant Monitoring Specialist is to ensure accurate and timely monitoring of merchant performance and operational processes, identify issues and deviations, and follow up with merchants and internal teams to resolve them. The role requires high attention to detail, strong process understanding, ownership, patience, and effective communication by phone and other channels.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring merchant performance, status, pricing, operational compliance, and assigned monitoring indicators.
Reviewing and analyzing data in Excel/Google Sheets and identifying errors, anomalies, and process deviations.
Following defined SOPs accurately and maintaining complete and reliable monitoring records.
Contacting merchants by phone when follow-up, clarification, correction, or commitment is required, and documenting outcomes.
Following up on assigned cases and actions until closure within agreed timelines.
Escalating critical or recurring issues to the relevant teams and maintaining clear communication and documentation.
Preparing regular reports and summaries of monitoring results and merchant issues.
Identifying recurring problems and suggesting practical improvements to monitoring processes.

Requirements:

Good command of Excel/Google Sheets; ability to work accurately with formulas, filters, sorting, and structured data.
High attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry, review, and reporting.
Strong process understanding and ability to follow SOPs consistently.
High sense of ownership, responsibility, and follow-through on assigned tasks.
Patience and professional communication skills, especially when speaking with merchants.
Good verbal communication and confidence in making follow-up calls to merchants.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with ability to identify inconsistencies and root causes.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases without losing accuracy.
Teamwork and ability to coordinate effectively with Commercial and other related teams.
Passion for learning, taking ownership, and improving existing processes.
