We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and optimizing business strategies across our organization. You will work closely with various teams, including marketing, operations, finance, and product, to gather, analyze, and interpret data, providing valuable insights that will contribute to the overall success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, data requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to develop actionable analytical solutions.
- Gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for analysis.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, translating complex data into clear and meaningful insights for business teams.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track KPIs, monitor business performance, and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support specific business inquiries and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements through data analysis, helping to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with data engineering and technical teams to ensure the availability and accessibility of relevant data for analysis.
- Assist in data-related aspects of business initiatives and projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Act as a data-driven advisor to various teams, supporting them in understanding trends, interpreting data, and making informed decisions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus)
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven business environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Metabase, Power BI, or similar to create compelling and insightful dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and data modeling concepts.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for hypothesis testing and data modeling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
