Ostadkar is looking for a passionate and energetic Senior Scrum Master to join the full-time team in Tehran, Iran. You are guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. Moreover, you help the team get the most of our self-organization, remove impediments, or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right person to remove the barrier. You are going to work closely with the product team and reporting to CTO and Director of Product.

Skills And Requirements:

Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least three years for a software development team.
Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Organizes and facilitates work planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and sprint and release planning.
The experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach.
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, emphasizing healing, and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burndown, burnup, cumulative flow, velocity, etc.)
Keeps informed and educated about industry trends concerning Agile methodologies.

Added Values:

Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing.
Experienced with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and their features.

Interview Process:
We have changed or interview process due to the COVID-19 circumstance:

Step 1:

The CTO reviews all applications, and potential ones are selected for a Skype interview. He/she will look for the best match for the hiring position. Therefore, please read the job description thoroughly to increase your chance.

Step 2:
You will be invited to a Skype interview. In this meeting, we will introduce the position and its responsibilities, introduce our business and company, and discuss your past experiences and current interests. Also, We will talk about one or two technical topics.

Step 3:
A mini task is designed for the candidate to do in less than a week. A senior scrum master or a senior product manager will be in charge of helping you with this task. The task will be a hypothetical situation in which you need to take action as a scrum master.

Step 4:
We will invite you to have a chat again. In this meeting, we will discuss the approach you took in your task, our organization situation, working hours and conditions, your desires and expectations. CTO, a scrum master, and a product manager will involve in this meeting.

At each step, if we cannot proceed with your application, you'll be notified by email or the medium you applied. However, if you did not get any notification, you are on our waitlist. In stage 2, it may take up to a maximum of 15 working days to call you. However, on average, it takes seven working days for most of our applicants.
