About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst works within Miare's Planning team to turn internal business needs into practical solutions using AI tools. The role owns assigned initiatives from problem discovery through the creation of dashboards, agents, automated workflows, or internal tools to adoption and measurable business impact.

What You'll Build

Alongside expanding the team's dashboards, you will build small side apps that support colleagues across different operational processes, and use LLMs, n8n, and similar tools to create new monitoring and tracking processes. Examples of what the team has built:

- An internal CRM for acquisition teams

- Management dashboards that give stakeholders accurate, reliable data

- Automated SMS reminders

- Internal admin tools

Key Responsibilities

- Understand teams' needs, assess business value, and agree priorities with the Planning Manager.

- Personally build and improve solutions with AI, from an initial idea to a usable output.

- Check calculations and AI-generated outputs, investigate errors, and test against business requirements.

- Own rollout, gather feedback, and drive adoption, working with specialist teams when needed.

Requirements

- +4 years of experience in data analysis or business analysis.

- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. General familiarity with AI or delegating the work is not sufficient.

- Strong SQL skills and experience working directly with analytical databases (e.g., ClickHouse, PostgreSQL).

- Experience building dashboards in BI tools such as Superset or Power BI.

- Strong business and numerical judgment, including interpreting metrics, questioning assumptions, and checking data and calculations.

- Structured problem-solving and ownership, from an ambiguous request to a practical, working solution.

- Effective communication across teams and the ability to learn quickly from testing and feedback.
