شرح موقعیت شغلی

We’re seeking a talented and motivated data scientist that will help us discover the insight hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver an even better product. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, designing and implementing experiments, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our product.

As a Data Scientist, you will leverage data and rigorous, analytical thinking to shape the company's product and business decisions. You will identify and scope opportunities, shape priorities, recommend solutions, design experiments, and measure impact. You will bring a quantitative mindset to decision-making in partnership with product, business, and operations stakeholders throughout the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing statistical models to predict customer behavior, optimize pricing strategies, delivery routes, and improve overall operational efficiency
  • Continuously monitoring and iterating on model performance
  • Identifying levers to impact essential metrics and making data-driven recommendations
  • Building analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, Python, and other tools to track key business metrics
  • Using quantitative analysis and data visualization to uncover insights that drive business decision-making across the company
  • Collaborating with engineers to implement, document, validate, and monitor data logging and infrastructure
  • Solving ambiguous problems in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported manner
  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
  • Developing company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
Requirements:

  • Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, statistical analysis, and statistical packages like R, Python, etc
  • Understanding the model build life-cycle, including feature selection and optimization, model selection and validation, and ongoing model maintenance.
  • Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems in a structured, data-supported manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • Minimum Experience of 2 years as the role of Data Scientist,data analytics or similar
  • A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields
