As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources functions of the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, while also providing guidance and support to employees across different levels.
Responsibilities:
HR Operations: Oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws. Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
Talent Acquisition: Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
Performance Management: Administer performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching managers on performance-related matters. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee performance and engagement.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development initiatives, including training programs, workshops, and seminars. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
HR Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Review and update HR policies and procedures as needed to maintain legal compliance and best practices.
HR Reporting: Generate HR reports and analytics to provide insights on key HR metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present HR-related data to senior management as needed.
Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale and engagement. Organize employee recognition programs, events, and activities to promote a culture of appreciation and teamwork.
HR Projects: Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and organizational change efforts.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support business objectives and drive HR initiatives forward.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
4 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR operations, employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related software.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
