About the Role

At Hami System Sharif, we build and operate large-scale national systems in payments, identity verification, and capital markets. We are looking for a strong Network Engineer to keep the network infrastructure behind these systems stable and secure.

In this role, we expect you to take ownership of the design, configuration, security, and monitoring of both the office network and production environments, and, alongside the DevOps and operations teams, to guarantee stable and secure access to our systems.

We are looking for someone who is precise, accountable, and disciplined about documentation, stays calm under pressure, and treats security as an inseparable part of network work.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure of the office and production environments (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN)

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points

• Manage firewalls and enforce security policies and access controls (ACL, NAT, segmentation)

• Set up and manage secure connectivity (site-to-site and remote-access VPN) with clients and for internal teams

• Continuously monitor the network with tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or Grafana and act on alerts before they become outages

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across layers and perform root cause analysis

• Manage core network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and load balancers

• Work with the DevOps team on server, data center, and inter-service network design

• Coordinate with ISPs, data centers, and clients to establish and maintain reliable connectivity links

• Apply the security standards and requirements of supervisory bodies (e.g., Shaparak and Central Bank requirements) at the network level

• Manage configuration backups of network devices and prepare disaster recovery scenarios

• Document network topology, configurations, IP plans, and operational procedures

• Perform periodic vulnerability reviews, firmware updates, and device hardening

• Provide technical support to internal users on network and access issues

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience managing and supporting enterprise networks

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field

• Strong command of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and the OSI model

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, or Fortinet equipment

• Experience configuring firewalls and network security policies

• Familiarity with network security concepts, IDS/IPS, and hardening principles

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server at the level of managing network services

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or PRTG

• Strong documentation skills and discipline in managing configurations and changes

• Proficiency in Office and Google Workspace tools

• Working knowledge of English for reading technical documentation

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MTCNA, NSE, or equivalent

• Experience in fintech, PSP, banking, or other high-security environments

• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and cloud and container concepts

• Familiarity with network automation (Ansible, Python) and SD-WAN concepts

• Experience implementing high availability and load balancing at the network level

• Experience working in growing organizations or fast-paced environments
