About the Role

We are looking for an experienced **Tech Lead** to lead the technical direction of one of our core products.

In this role, you'll combine hands-on software development with technical leadership, helping the team design, build, and evolve scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise software. You'll work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to drive architectural decisions, solve complex technical challenges, mentor engineers, and continuously improve both our products and development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction and architecture of one of our core products.
Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Contribute hands-on to the development of complex and business-critical features.
Review code and promote engineering best practices across the team.
Drive architectural decisions, manage technical debt, and improve software quality.
Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions.
Mentor engineers and support their technical growth.
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Continuously improve development workflows, engineering standards, and delivery processes.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade enterprise software systems.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system architecture, backend development, API design, relational databases, and modern software development practices.
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure software development.
Ability to analyze and solve complex performance, scalability, and reliability challenges.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, make architectural decisions, and collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant applications.
Experience modernizing or evolving large-scale legacy systems.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, container technologies, and distributed architectures.
Experience participating in technical hiring and engineering team growth.
Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools.
Contributions to open-source projects, technical communities, or engineering knowledge sharing.
