About the Role

As a Software Engineer on the Graph File Analysis Group, you will focus on developing the core of FAM products, designing, prototyping, and implementing essential features, as well as ensuring its scalability and stability. Your role will focus on writing high-quality code, implementing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the tool meets customer needs. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop features and improvements to Graph products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
  • Work with the Product Manager to carefully assess the technical feasibility of feature requests
  • Interface directly with internal teams, users and Graph customers
  • Own the full lifecycle of development, including design, testing, release
  • Program mostly in Golang, learning from and contributing to a team committed to continually improving their skills
  • Work on issues and improvements critical to the success of Graph customers
  • Provide technical advice to the Customer Support team to resolve requests from customers
  • Keep detailed documentation and conduct analyses of existing tools to identify and act on areas for improvement, enhancing user satisfaction and usability.
  • Engage in Tier 2 or Tier 3 support during weekday, weekend, and occasionally night on-call rotations to address product operations, security issues, and urgent engineering needs.


Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on cyber security products
  • Proficient in Go, with familiarity in other programming languages (Python, Rust) considered beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Strong background in developing secure applications and a keen understanding of how to protect them against modern security threats.
  • Skilled in designing RESTful APIs using industry best practices.
  • Keen interest in operational process improvement and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success
