شرح موقعیت شغلی

Job Description:

Fidibo is planning to expand to AI activities by building a competent data science team. 
We are currently looking for a senior-level data scientist to maintain current AI-based services, as well as work alongside other team leads to define data team roadmap and undertake team-building responsibilities.

Lately, a state-of-the-art Recommendation System has been developed by a third-party company for Fidibo and the main responsibility for this role is to maintain and develop this service. Previous working experience in constructing recommendation systems, deep knowledge of recommendation evaluation metrics, and a solid understanding of NLP models and techniques are basic requirements for this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and coordinate with the “third-party recommendation development team” during the maintenance period to fully understand the modeling, services, and codebase.
  • Maintain and configure recommendation flows based on business requirements.
  • Prepare the recommendation development roadmap.
  • Benchmark recommendation evaluation metrics and prepare business-wise reports.
  • Work alongside other teams’ leads to prepare the data team roadmap and define role specifications and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Deep Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.).
  • Deep Knowledge and understanding of a variety of machine learning concepts and techniques (feature space, evaluation, generalization, classification, clustering, loss functions, gradient descent, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Working knowledge and a solid understanding of recommendation approach:
                content-based, collaborative filtering, graph-based and sequential models.

  • Working knowledge in text processing concepts: Text embedding approaches, pre-trained models, transfer learning, and fine-tuning methods. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) for coordinating across teams, research, and reporting.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Python, git, and Docker fluency.
