Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of our platform.

In this role, you will design, build, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Svelte, and PostgreSQL. You will work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance features.

The ideal candidate has strong backend development experience, a solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, and the ability to take ownership of features throughout the full software development lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
  • Build secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Svelte and SvelteKit
  • Design and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, indexes, and migrations
  • Integrate third-party APIs, authentication services, payment providers, and other external systems
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using technologies such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, and role-based access control
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code
  • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
  • Identify and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, and database layers
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, code reviews, and estimation
  • Collaborate with product, design, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Maintain technical documentation for APIs, architecture, workflows, and deployment processes
  • Monitor production systems and assist with incident investigation and resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, engineering practices, and platform architecture

Required Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Professional experience with Node.js and NestJS
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing modern frontend applications using Svelte or SvelteKit
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design
  • Experience with database migrations, indexing, transactions, and query optimization
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser technologies
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
  • Experience implementing authentication, authorization, validation, and error handling
  • Understanding of application security principles, including OWASP recommendations
  • Experience writing unit, integration, or end-to-end tests
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team
