Borvista is searching for a rockstar Senior Ruby Developer to join our growing team. You'll be at the heart of crafting innovative solutions, building high-performance Ruby applications that power our mission to deliver high-quality products to our clients.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and implement elegant, maintainable Ruby code for our mission-critical web applications.
Architect and engineer scalable, secure, and robust back-end systems that drive user growth and engagement.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to translate ideas into exceptional user experiences.
Champion best practices, write comprehensive tests, and ensure code quality through rigorous reviews.
Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and adopting emerging Ruby technologies and trends.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience as a professional Ruby developer, with a proven track record of success.
In-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework, along with its best practices and patterns.
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs with various third-party services.
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and their optimization techniques.
A keen eye for writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that promotes long-term sustainability.
Solid experience with testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, MiniTest) and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
Excellent English communication skills, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
A genuine passion for learning, continuous improvement, and staying at the forefront of the Ruby ecosystem.

Bonus Points:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
Knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) for a holistic understanding of the tech stack.
