Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Ruby Developer with a strong focus on REST API development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable APIs with Ruby, utilizing frameworks like Sinatra, and managing data and caching with MongoDB and Redis respectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code for REST API development.
- Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using the Sinatra framework.
- Integrate data storage solutions and enhance application performance using MongoDB and caching mechanisms via Redis.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with mobile developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance user interaction.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment for API services.
- Monitor, test, and continuously optimize your designs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Ruby Developer with a strong portfolio of projects focusing on REST API development.
- Proficient in Ruby and Sinatra framework, with a deep understanding of REST API architecture.
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis for caching solutions.
- Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful principles.
- A solid understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment of API solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
