شرح موقعیت شغلی

We seek an engineer proficient in Python, Flask, Redis, PostgreSQL, REST, CI/CD, and a strong command of data-related libraries such as Pandas. Knowledge of frontend development, i.e., the ability to read and develop code in the JavaScript browser, mainly in React, is a strong preference.

Understanding the core concepts of data engineering, debugging, and writing unit tests are critical aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and processing requirements.
Experience using modern team management tools like Jira effectively to help plan projects and report progress.
Ensure code and data quality, integrity, and security.
Debug and write unit tests to ensure robust solutions.
Perform data modelling, cleansing, and transformation tasks.
Optimize data processes for performance and scalability.

Technical Requirements:

Proficiency in Flask, Redis, PostgreSQL, and REST API development.
Strong expertise in Python and data-related libraries such as Pandas.
Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices.
Debugging skills and the ability to write unit tests for code validation.
Familiarity with hexagonal architecture

Good to Have Technical Skills:

Fronted coding, particularly in React
Experience in data engineering with a focus on Cloud Storage and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with Apache Airflow and DBT is a plus.
Familiarity with the semantic layer is a bonus.
Good knowledge/experience of modern data architectures like data lake houses.

Working proficiency in English:
- Attending online meetings and being able to understand flawlessly and communicate fluently,
- Writing technical documents in English

Capability to relocate to a foreign country with a 2-month notice: a relocation package and competitive salary in the destination will be offered, and you should not have barriers to travel, like military service.
Capability of physical attendance at the team gathering every other month in the location we specify.
