Act as an internally facing point of contact to escalate technical issues and communicate network status
Act as an externally facing point of contact to facilitate handling of fault and problem reports
Maintain relations with network peers and vendors.
Monitor network stability and performance, ensuring 24x7 operations and resolving service impacts
Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
Requirements
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG)
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
Familiarity with communication protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS)
In-depth knowledge of network protocols (Network+)
Familiarity with windows server operating system
Familiarity with connecting links
