We're a vibrant online hub, dedicated to teaching kids aged 5 to 18 the magic of coding. Our mission? To make coding an exciting journey for all!

While our classes are conducted exclusively in English, our student community hails from all over the globe. We're seeking individuals who can confidently communicate in fluent English and craft engaging, imaginative lessons for our young learners."

Position: Scratch Teacher

A Scratch teacher should possess a combination of technical, teaching, and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and engage students in coding using Scratch. Here is a list of skills that a Scratch teacher should have:

Proficiency in Scratch: A deep understanding of Scratch programming, including knowledge of its interface, blocks, and coding concepts.
Programming Skills: Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts like loops, conditionals, variables, and event-driven programming.
Creativity: The ability to create imaginative and engaging Scratch projects and activities that captivate students' interest.
Pedagogical Skills: Effective teaching techniques and strategies to explain coding concepts clearly and facilitate student learning.
Patience: The patience to work with students of varying skill levels and learning speeds, allowing them to grasp concepts at their own pace.
Adaptability: The capability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students and adjust to different learning styles.
Communication: Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner and to encourage students to ask questions and seek help when needed.
Problem-Solving: The ability to guide students through troubleshooting and problem-solving when they encounter issues with their projects.
Classroom Management: Skills for managing classroom dynamics, including time management, organization, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using online teaching tools and resources, as many Scratch classes are conducted online.
Empathy: A genuine understanding of the challenges students may face when learning coding and the ability to provide support and encouragement.
Continuous Learning: The willingness to stay updated on new Scratch features and developments to provide the most relevant and up-to-date instruction.

What You'll Do:

- Teach Scratch 3 to super smart kids online.
- Teach in 1-on-1 and group sessions.
- Manage the classes based on the guidelines.
- Communicate with the kids in English.- Make fun and cool lessons that kids will love.
- Use our online tools to give classes.
- Help kids if they get stuck and cheer them on.
- Keep up with new Scratch stuff so we always have the best lessons.

What We're Looking For:

- Enthusiasm: You really, really like Scratch and teaching.
- Creativity: You can make lessons that are both fun and helpful.
- Experience: You've used Scratch a lot and have maybe even taught before.
- Patience: Not all kids learn at the same speed, and that's okay!

Working Hours:

Our classes are based on students time zones. So, there is no specific time for the upcoming classes. Mostly in the afternoon and at night!
Also, your availability for the classes is important. We will talk to you before assigning the classes to you.
