At Zarrino, we are looking a Supply Planning Specialist with strong analytical and data-driven capabilities to support and optimize our supply planning processes.
This role is ideal for a professional who can manage core supply planning activities while also leveraging data analysis, modeling, and automation tools to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

You will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners (3PL), and internal teams, and play an active role in developing analytical models and structured planning processes to enhance overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning & Operational Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and holding costs.
Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and operational constraints.
Manage purchase order planning, release, and tracking to ensure timely and accurate supply.
Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners (3PL), warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply execution.
Analyze supplier performance (lead time, reliability, fill rate) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify supply risks and constraints and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Work closely with procurement, marketing, warehouse, and operations teams to align supply and distribution plans.

Data Analysis, Modeling & Process Optimization

Analyze demand, consumption, and inventory data to improve supply planning accuracy and responsiveness.
Build analytical and optimization models to support inventory policies, safety stock calculation, and reorder logic.
Use Python and data analysis tools to automate calculations, simulations, and scenario analysis.
Design, improve, and standardize supply planning processes using data-driven insights.
Develop dashboards and performance reports to monitor planning KPIs and support decision-making.
Support mechanization and automation of planning workflows and data pipelines.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve planning logic, data quality, and process efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and supply chain fundamentals.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable planning decisions.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
Experience with analytical or modeling tools for optimization and scenario analysis.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel (Power Query, complex formulas, data modeling).
Ability to work with uncertainty and solve complex planning problems using data.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented with a proactive and improvement-driven mindset.
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is considered a plus.
