Herlife is expanding its reach into the health and wellbeing sector by launching a new vertical within our application. This Direct to Consumer (D2C) online store will offer a curated selection of health and wellbeing products to our users. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Supervisor to oversee the procurement, logistics, fulfillment, and support operations for this new vertical. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless, efficient, and high-quality shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Product Sourcing and Procurement:
Develop and implement strategies for sourcing high-quality health and wellbeing products that align with Herlife's brand and customer expectations.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices, quality, and delivery terms.
Continuously evaluate and optimize the supplier portfolio for cost-efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.
Logistics and Fulfillment:
Design and manage the end-to-end logistics and fulfillment process, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
Work closely with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes, reduce delivery times, and manage costs.
Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Customer Support and Experience:
Develop and maintain a customer support framework that ensures timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to enhance the customer journey within the app, focusing on the shopping experience.
Analyze customer feedback and operational data to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet demand without overstocking.
Implement efficient warehouse management practices to optimize space utilization and product handling.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to the health and wellbeing vertical operations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in the health and wellbeing sector or e-commerce is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of D2C business models and e-commerce platforms.
Proficient in inventory and warehouse management systems, as well as customer support technologies.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
