Wallex is a FinTech company providing a secure cryptocurrency exchange platform and digital asset payment solutions.

With a vision to become a leading global FinTech enterprise, Wallex is recognized as one of the largest cryptocurrency exchange platforms in Iran, supporting the online trading of over 130 cryptocurrencies.

We are seeking a Senior Strategy & Business Analyst to join the Business Solutions team within the Group Strategy Office.

In this role, you will own complex business problems from problem definition through to decision-ready recommendations. You will frame ambiguous questions, determine the appropriate analytical approach, build the required evidence and models, evaluate financial and non-financial dimensions, assess alternatives, and deliver clear Go / No-Go / Go-with-conditions recommendations.

Projects may include new products and business models, market entry, investments, M&A, valuation, licensing, corporate development, and decision or scoring models.

Responsibilities:

Turn ambiguous business questions into clear, decision-relevant problem statements.
Structure complex problems around the key drivers, assumptions, hypotheses, and evidence required to answer them.
Conduct market, competitor, customer, industry, benchmark, and regulatory analysis.
Size markets and opportunities using TAM / SAM / SOM, top-down and bottom-up approaches, benchmarking, and first-principles estimation.
Build and own financial, market-sizing, scenario, sensitivity, scoring, and decision models.
Select, document, and defend analytical methodologies, including their assumptions, evidence, limitations, and uncertainty.
Evaluate opportunities across financial, commercial, regulatory, legal, operational, strategic, and execution dimensions.
Develop and compare credible alternatives, make key trade-offs explicit, and identify the factors that materially drive the decision.
Produce clear Go / No-Go / Go-with-conditions recommendations and concise, decision-ready materials for senior leadership.
Collaborate across the Group, leverage specialist expertise, and integrate multiple perspectives into one coherent recommendation.
Use AI as a routine part of the workflow across research, synthesis, analysis, modeling, and automation while independently validating outputs.
Maintain ownership of the analysis until the recommendation is fully understood, challenged, and decision-ready; operational execution is owned by the relevant business teams.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with meaningful ownership of complex analytical or business problems.
Strong critical thinking and problem-framing skills, with the ability to identify the real question behind an ambiguous request and create structure where none exists.
Strong learning agility and ability to work effectively across unfamiliar industries, markets, and business models.
Strong ability to use AI as part of the analytical workflow, including workflow redesign, automation of repetitive tasks, understanding model limitations, and independent validation of outputs.
Strong executive writing and communication skills, with the ability to lead with the conclusion, simplify complexity, and produce decision-ready materials for senior management or board-level audiences.
Strong command of core strategy, finance, market, and business analysis tools, including market sizing, competitive analysis, business models, unit economics, market entry, and financial feasibility.
Ability to independently select, build, document, and defend analytical models and methodologies, including their assumptions and uncertainties.
Strong judgment across financial and non-financial dimensions, including regulatory, legal, operational, strategic, and execution considerations.
Ability to reach clear recommendations under uncertainty, including recommending a No-Go when appropriate.
Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with others and leveraging specialist expertise where needed.
Familiarity with financial services, FinTech, digital assets, investment, or capital markets is considered an advantage.
