Role Mission

The Junior Project Manager acts as the operational bridge between the company and its portfolio game studios.

The role is responsible for maintaining clear communication, visibility and alignment across portfolio companies, tracking key projects and initiatives, following up on commitments and deliverables, identifying risks and blockers, and ensuring that relevant information is accurately communicated to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Communication & Relationship Management

* Act as the day-to-day operational point of contact between the company and assigned portfolio studios.

* Maintain regular communication with founders, producers, project managers and relevant team members within portfolio companies.

* Establish structured communication routines with portfolio teams.

* Ensure important updates, decisions and requests are communicated to the appropriate internal stakeholders.

* Build a professional and trust-based working relationship with portfolio teams.

Project & Progress Tracking

* Monitor the progress of key projects and initiatives across portfolio companies.

* Track milestones, deliverables, deadlines and major dependencies.

* Maintain up-to-date project status information.

* Follow up with portfolio teams on outstanding actions and commitments.

* Identify delays, blockers and potential risks at an early stage.

* Escalate important issues to the appropriate manager.

The role should always be able to answer:

Where are we?

What has changed?

What's next?

What's blocked?

Who needs to act?

Portfolio Reporting

* Collect regular updates from portfolio companies.

* Consolidate project and business updates into clear internal reports.

* Prepare portfolio status summaries for Investment / Management teams.

* Track key milestones and changes across the portfolio.

* Highlight risks, opportunities and areas requiring management attention.

* Maintain centralized portfolio information and documentation.

Follow-up & Action Management

* Track action items resulting from meetings and discussions.

* Ensure responsibilities and deadlines are clearly assigned.

* Follow up with relevant stakeholders until actions are completed.

* Maintain action trackers and project documentation.

* Ensure important commitments do not get lost between meetings or communication channels.

Cross-functional Coordination

Coordinate information and requests between portfolio companies and internal teams, including:

* Investment

* Business Development

* Finance

* Legal

* Marketing

* Gaming / Product

* Management

For example:

Portfolio Studio → needs publishing support

→ PM identifies the request

→ understands the context

→ documents it

→ routes it to the relevant internal team

→ follows up

→ communicates progress back to the studio.

Portfolio Support

* Identify areas where portfolio companies may benefit from the company's network, expertise or resources.

* Surface potential collaboration opportunities between portfolio companies.

* Coordinate introductions to relevant internal or external stakeholders when required.

* Support portfolio initiatives such as:

* Publishing

* Business development

* Hiring

* Marketing

* Partnerships

* Fundraising

* Events

* Market expansion

Meeting & Documentation Management

* Coordinate recurring portfolio meetings.

* Prepare agendas when required.

* Capture key decisions and action items.

* Maintain meeting notes and documentation.

* Follow up on decisions and commitments.

* Ensure portfolio information remains organized and accessible.
