Job Title: Senior Front-end Developer

SabaTech | Where Technology Shapes the Future of Social Protection Systems

Job Purpose

At SabaTech, front-end development is not about screens and components alone.

It is about shaping how millions of users experience trust, clarity, and access in critical financial and social platforms.

We build digital products at the intersection of Financial Technologies, Social Protection, and Pension Systems.

As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will play a key role in translating complex systems and data into clear, usable, and elegant user experiences, while contributing to long-living platforms.

This role is not about implementing designs pixel by pixel.

It’s about building foundations, enabling scalability, and setting standards for quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

·        Collaborate closely with Team Leads, Product Managers, and Designers to shape, refine, and deliver product features

·        Build, maintain, and evolve a scalable design system to ensure UI consistency across products

·        Develops responsive, high-performance user interfaces with a mobile-first mindset

·        Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with modern front-end best practices

·        Actively participate in code reviews – both giving and receiving constructive feedback

·        Collaborate closely with back-end teams

·        Continuously improve front-end architecture, performance, and developer experience

·        Adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks, and workflows as products evolve

·        Contribute to improving overall team productivity, code quality, and technical standards

 

Qualifications & Experience

·        Strong experience with modern web frameworks and libraries, especially React and Next.js

·        Excellent command of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

·        Hands-on experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass / SCSS

·        Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and utility-first styling approaches

·        Solid experience in state management solutions such Redux, Redux Toolkit, React Context API, or Zustand

·        Strong understanding of SSR and CSR concepts, including their trade-offs

·        Proven experience in responsive UI development with a strong focus on performance

·        Knowledge of SOLID principles, clean code, and common front-end design patterns

·        Extensive experience integrating RESTful APIs

·        Comfortable working with Git and Agile methodologies (Scrum)

·        Experience with unit testing using jest or similar tools is a plus

·        Experience with PWA development, WebSockets, or real-time applications is a plus

·        Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Debugging, refactoring, test generation, productivity) is a strong plus

·        A JavaScript-related certification is considered an advantage
