Responsibilities:

Assist in collecting and cleaning web data, focusing on understanding and refining crawling pipelines.
Read, maintain, and improve existing scripts under the guidance of senior engineers.
Experiment with small scripts and side projects to practice and explore new techniques.
Monitor and troubleshoot crawling pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
Work with Python, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ, gradually learning database and message queue operations.
Document work, report issues, and propose improvements.
Learn continuously, develop critical thinking, and gain hands-on experience in web data extraction.

Requirements:

Strong foundation in Python and general programming concepts.
Curiosity and enthusiasm for web scraping, crawling, and data extraction.
Ability and interest to read, understand, and maintain others’ code.
Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL) and message queues (RabbitMQ); hands-on experience is a plus.
Team player with attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills.
Persistent, curious, and loves to tackle challenges.
