We are seeking a highly motivated Android Developer with extensive experience in Kotlin and Android development. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in optimizing our app’s performance, enhancing the user experience, and taking ownership of key features. If you have a passion for problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Develop & Maintain Android App: Build and maintain a high-performance Android application that is feature-rich, responsive, and visually appealing.
Optimization & Performance: Implement optimizations to ensure seamless operation with minimal resource consumption and faster load times. Continuously work to improve app performance and responsiveness.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Leverage your expertise in debugging, particularly using Sentry, to diagnose and resolve software defects efficiently.
Collaboration & Ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, to deliver a top-notch user experience. Take ownership of key areas of the application and contribute to the product's growth and success.

Requirements:

Proven Expertise in Kotlin and Android Development: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android development, with deep proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Strong Problem-Solving & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively.
Performance Optimization: Demonstrated experience in improving the performance of Android applications, focusing on speed, responsiveness, and resource usage.
Debugging with Sentry: Expertise in debugging and using tools like Sentry to quickly identify and fix issues.
MVVM, Hilt, and Coroutines: Rich experience with the MVVM design pattern, Hilt for dependency injection, and Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
Version Control Mastery: Proficiency in using Git to manage source code and collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with financial applications, especially in trading or cryptocurrency environments, is a plus.

Working days and hours are Saturday to Wednesday and Thursday every other week.
