Department: Supply Operations – Strategy & Planning

Location: [Tehran] Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Planning Manager to join our Strategy & Planning team within Supply Operations. This role is the economic engine behind our courier supply — deciding how many couriers we need, where, and when, and ensuring every money we spend drives real, measurable value.

You will own the courier income model, forecast demand and capacity across cities and regions, and manage the overall incentive budget and framework. Your work directly shapes how efficiently we balance supply and demand — and ultimately, the profit margin on every order we deliver.

What You'll Do

- Forecast demand and plan courier supply capacity by city, region, and time window

- Design and maintain the courier income model and base pay rates

- Own the overall incentive framework and total incentive budget

- Build and apply independent measurement methodologies (holdout groups, RCTs, incrementality testing) to evaluate the true impact of incentive spend

- Calculate the marginal cost of incremental orders to guide investment decisions

- Arbitrate budget allocation across competing incentive levers (surge pricing, retention programs, local promotions)

- Define courier acquisition and capacity targets, and communicate them clearly to the Fleet Management team and city-level operations

What Success Looks Like

Your core measure of success is profit margin per order — achieved by keeping supply and demand in balance while spending incentive budget as efficiently as possible. You'll also be accountable for metrics such as actual-vs-plan accuracy, supply-demand balance, incentive ROI, marginal cost per incentivized order, and staying within budget.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (supply planning, demand forecasting, marketplace operations, or a related analytical/operations function)

Skills:

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis

- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for modeling and reporting

- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and data visualization

- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations

- Solid understanding of demand-supply economics and marketplace dynamics

- Clear communication skills to align cross-functional teams (Fleet, Live Monitoring, city operations) around targets and priorities

Nice to Have:

- Experience working with Grafana or similar monitoring/reporting tools

- Prior exposure to last-mile delivery, ride-hailing, or on-demand marketplace environments

- Familiarity with experimental design (A/B testing, RCTs, incrementality measurement)
