Senior DevOps Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help improve automation, infrastructure reliability, and enable engineering teams to use new technologies in a scalable, reliable, and highly available way. This position requires hands-on experience and the ability to work closely with engineering teams. You will also have the opportunity to influence architecture and the technology stack to promote quality and innovation necessary for industry changing machine learning and AI systems.

We are trying to expand development team agility to satisfy customers’ needs quickly. Therefore, a DevOps engineer with an agile mindset would lead us to achieve those goals. Joining Zino DevOps team is an opportunity to help create infrastructure and define best practices using cutting edge technologies. Not only do we work hard at our jobs, but we also maintain a culture of authenticity and collaboration.

 

What you'll be doing:

·       Provision hybrid and on-premises cloud environments and Kubernetes cluster

·       Implement multi-staged deployment (DEV, QA, PROD) on Kubernetes and automate the whole processes

·       Own and implement reusable tooling for CI/CD pipelines, including continuous unit testing, data quality testing and integration testing systems

·       Provide recommendations for architecture and process improvements

·       Share DevOps knowledge and expertise and help uplift the capabilities and skills across Agile teams

·       Implement monitoring and alerting solutions that identify both system bottlenecks and production issues (Prometheus, Grafana)

·       Identify and build in-application metrics

·       Perform daily tasks such as environmental health checks, disk space monitoring, and environmental status reports

·       Implement Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery strategies and associated architectures

 

Skills & experience you'll need:

·       Extensive understanding of software engineering, cloud native and architectures (Microservices, Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Design and etc) 

·       Extensive understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud native design patterns

·       Experience with Sql and NoSql databases (MsSql, MySql, MongoDb, Neo4j ,…)

·       Broad understanding of networking, storage and Sysadmin best practices

·       Comprehensive experience with Git, CI/CD, automations and etc

·       Extensive understanding of load balancing, clustering and high availability

·       Experience with Infrastructure as Code - network, compute and storage platforms on VMware, ESXI and etc

·       Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, C#, Java and etc)

·       Experience in understanding regulatory and enterprise security considerations and designing solutions factoring such considerations

 

Bonus experience:

·       Provision Kubernetes Cluster using Kubernetes Engines (Rancher, OKD and etc)

·       Experience with universal package management tools, code quality assessment, testing environment’s techniques such as sandboxing

·       Experience with designing and running multi-tenant solutions using cloud native approaches

N.B. The candidate needs to move to Kish Island to work at the headquarter.
