Mid-Level Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer with strong Python experience to join our technical team and help us build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend applications using Python.
Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Design and manage database architecture and server integrations.
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Implement caching strategies and optimize database and application performance.
Analyze technical requirements, solve complex problems, and contribute to system architecture decisions.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Develop automated tests and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with Frontend and Mobile Developers.
Stay up to date with modern technologies and backend development best practices.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Python Backend Development.
Strong experience in API development.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
Practical experience with MongoDB and Redis.
Good understanding of caching, database optimization, design patterns, and system architecture.
Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.

Nice to Have:

Experience with high-scale or high-traffic systems.
Experience in FinTech, financial systems, or payment platforms.
Familiarity with Microservices, Docker, CI/CD, or Cloud platforms.
Experience working in a startup or fast-growing technology environment.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
