Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while working closely with our development and operations teams to streamline and automate our CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP.
● Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.
● Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
● Monitor and optimise the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of our GCP environments.
● Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
● Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).
● Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting of applications and infrastructure.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, deployment, and infrastructure.
● Implement best practices for security and compliance within the GCP environment.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in cloud computing and DevOps.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
● Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices on GCP.
● Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
● Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
● Experience with containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
● Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in a cloud environment.
● Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as Sentry, Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Peferred Qualifications: 
● Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification. 
● Experience with serverless computing on GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run). 
● Knowledge of database management and optimization on GCP (Cloud SQL, Bigtable). 
● Familiarity with AI and machine learning services on GCP. What We Offer:
