About Melli Gold:

Melli Gold is a fintech startup operating at the intersection of the gold market and financial technology. We design and develop an intelligent and secure infrastructure for sourcing, trading, and managing gold flows in Iran

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded, and high-agency Business Finance Analyst who can turn numbers into decisions and take full ownership of financial problems.
You’ll work closely with business teams, receive complex and sometimes ambiguous problems, and be expected to drive them independently from analysis to action.
Years of experience are not a requirement. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong quantitative ability, judgment, and learning velocity are welcome to apply.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and key business drivers.
Support budgeting, forecasting, target setting, and financial planning.
Perform variance analysis and identify the real operational and commercial drivers behind performance.
Build financial models and business cases for investments and new initiatives.
Analyze unit economics, ROI, contribution margin, and profitability.
Partner with business teams on financial and operational KPIs and OKRs.
Support performance reviews and quarterly business reviews.
Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making.
Identify financial risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
Take delegated financial and business problems and own them end-to-end.
Improve financial dashboards, reporting, and planning processes.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving.
Solid understanding of P&L, profitability, and business economics.
Extreme ownership and accountability for outcomes.
Relentless resourcefulness — you don’t wait for perfect data, perfect tools, or perfect instructions.
Comfort working with high autonomy and minimal supervision.
A genuine growth mindset and appetite for steep learning curves.
Ability to take feedback, adapt fast, and continuously expand your scope.
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working with data.
Clear communication and professional English proficiency.
High energy, curiosity, and bias for action.

SQL or BI experience is a plus, but raw analytical ability, ownership, and learning velocity matter much more than years of experience or specific tools.
