شرح موقعیت شغلی

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist/Analyst to join our team in developing an innovative product for asset and wealth management. As a Data Scientist/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, developing algorithms, and providing insights, including sentiment, technical and fundamental analysis to enhance our users' asset management strategies. You will work closely with our development team to design and implement data-driven solutions that optimize wealth management within the product.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large volumes of financial data, including market trends, investment portfolios, and asset performance, to identify patterns, correlations, and insights.
  • Develop predictive models, algorithms, and data-driven strategies based on technical, fundamental and sentiment analysis to optimize asset allocation, risk management, and investment decision-making for app users.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in analysis methodologies and sentiment-related data sources, continuously improving the accuracy and reliability of analysis within the product.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate data analysis and modeling into the app's infrastructure, ensuring seamless implementation and functionality.
  • Conduct statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and end-users.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in asset and wealth management, financial markets, and data science methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and UX designers, to align data analysis and modeling with user requirements and app objectives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security throughout the development process by implementing robust data governance and compliance practices.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist/Analyst in the asset and wealth management industry, with a strong understanding of investment strategies, financial markets, and portfolio management principles.
  • Expertise in sentiment analysis, with experience analyzing sentiment from news sources using natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with database systems, data querying languages (e.g., SQL), and data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy, quality, and security.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
