شرح موقعیت شغلی

Wallex is seeking a passionate product security engineer who derives purpose in life by revealing potential weaknesses and then crafting creative solutions to eliminate those weaknesses. Your skills will be the foundation of security initiatives that protect the security and privacy of Wallex products and users. You will be relied upon to provide engineering and product teams with the security expertise necessary to make confident product decisions. We are looking for a Security Engineer who will work collaboratively with our development team to identify top areas of risk and vulnerabilities in our applications. You'll work cross-functionally to implement the security controls and solutions you define.

Responsibilities:

Working with development teams to provide them with help and guidance on addressing cybersecurity threats.
Conducting threat modeling and SDLC. Training development teams on how to run them.
Auditing and Reviewing application codes as security perspectives.
Participating in security issue management processes.
Educating and supporting development teams performing security activities
Appsec tooling and integrations like security issue tracking and SAST tools if needed.
Research security best practices in other organizations.
Keeping abreast of new vulnerabilities and attack vectors, and associated countermeasures especially in the fintech/cryptocurrency industry.

Requirements:

MSC or BSC in computer engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant work experience with experience contributing to the security of web applications like Pen-testing, red team, blue team, and CTF experience.
Experience understanding threats and ensuring security and privacy on the internet.
Experience in the financial industry, FinTech, and/or cryptocurrency space.
Technical experience across various product security areas including web applications, mobile, cryptography, etc.
Experience with software development in one or more languages (PHP, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience with security software development lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to automate existing processes using a modern scripting language or automation tools
Proven communication skills and leads by influence across all levels.
Experience translating security concepts into language for application developers and non-technical audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong logic and problem-solving skills
