International Litigation Manager (Crypto - Web3)

  2. Fluency in English is mandatory.
  3. Financial and Law Firms' experiences are highly preferred.

VisionX Foundation, an independent non-profit organization advocating for a decentralized economy, is seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO with a deep understanding of the legal and cryptocurrency sectors. The CEO will spearhead the development and execution of high-impact business strategies, lead the team in challenging entities like Crypto Exchanges that adversely affect the decentralized economy, and represent the organization in at various events and media platforms.


What is the Purpose of the Role
The role is for a legal professional who will be responsible for providing guidance to the organization on all legal matters relating to digital / cryptocurrency assets, including regulatory and compliance issues. The role demands an individual with a deep understanding of cryptocurrency regulations, investigating cyber issues, and conducting cases along with an understanding of complex e-discovery issues.





What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties)

  • Maintain a deep understanding of current virtual / cryptocurrency regulations, newly issued guidance, proposed rulemaking, and newly effective regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct complex, fast-moving investigations involving crypto assets and cyber issues.
  • Developing investigative or litigation plans and adjusting as appropriate during the course of an investigation.
  • Develop investigative or litigation plans and adjust as appropriate during the course of an investigation.
  • Provide management and unit leadership with advice and work product exhibiting knowledge, insight, and understanding of relevant law, facts, and technology.
  • Analyze information to identify relationships and trends and integrate and synthesize facts to reach reasonable conclusions.
  • Organize work, set priorities, and determine short or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address issues and problems or involve novel or unexplored questions of law or policy.
  • Engage with regulators and external partners by providing thought leadership and strategic direction on novel digital currency legal and regulatory issues.
  • May participate in all aspects of litigation in federal court and administrative proceedings.
What We Look for in You




BASIC REQUIREMENT:
ALL APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

  • You should have a legal degree from a recognized institution.
  • An active member of the bar in good standing.
MUST-HAVE:

Applicants must have at least four (2) years of post university work experience independently identifying legal issues, providing legal analyses, providing legal solutions/recommendations, and preparing legal documents.




Also includes at least two years:

(1) Analyzing complex legal and factual issues; and
(2) Conducting investigations and developing recommendations relating to crypto and digital asset issues; and
(3) Conducting civil cases and proceedings before administrative law judges; and
(4) Experience in and understanding of various aspects of cryptocurrency law and litigation and complex e-discovery issues required; and
(5) Experience handling regulatory and enforcement matters and prior relationships with relevant regulators and other relevant state and federal agencies.
NICE TO HAVE:

  • 5+ years experience at a law firm with crypto advisory experience, financial services regulatory agency, or cryptocurrency exchange
  • Previous work experience or personal interest in the crypto/blockchain space.
  • Comfortable using decentralized Crypto software such as Metamask, DEXs LiquidityPools, etc.
