Do you enjoy developing modern web applications using React? If your answer is yes, please continue reading to learn more about us and the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the previous platform (written in plain React) while developing new features using Next.js,
- Investigate product defects, identify and fix root causes, test and deploy fixes,
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of team practices and procedures,
- Participate in all Scrum practices: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, estimation, backlog grooming, and retrospectives,
- Work with UX and UI designers to implement features as designed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent,
- Experience working with version control systems (Gitlab and Github) to deliver and deploy your code,
- At least 5 years of experience working with React, Typescript, and Redux in production environment,
- Expert in HTML, CSS, and Javascript,
- Good spoken English and communication skills,
- Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, testing, and operations.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Linux proficiency, especially through the command line,
- Experience working with Next.js,
- Experience in improving performance of React websites,
- Experience in developing mobile applications using React Native.
- - Familiar with Material-UI
- - Familiar with css-in-js
- - Knowledge and experience with front end testing frameworks such as Jest
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Wanting to meet and exceed expectations,
- High working ethics,
- Strong teamwork skills along ability to take ownership and work independently,
- Self-motivated, agile, willing to learn and improve.
