Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement database in accordance to end-users needs.
Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
Conduct performance tuning at the DB level.
Engage in database model analysis for Mongo DB and Cassandra DB.
Manage data backup, restoration and cleanup activities.
Client-side implementation and support.
Guiding development team for Data Model and Query Tuning.
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards

Skills and Experience

· Database – MySQL, Cassandra, Mongo DB, and Oracle.

· Operating System – Linux and Windows.

· Understanding and Implementation of security and data protection.

· Good Communication Skills (English).

· Should have excellent problem-solving skills and a flexible attitude.

· 5 years of overall experience with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Mongo and Cassandra DB.

Minimum Educational Qualification

· Bachelor/Master in Computer Science
